Asturias is a very enchanting place with a great variety of natural and protected spaces in which you can enjoy your holidays in. The most important of these is undoubtfully the European Peaks. The peak of Angliru or Covandonga Lakes (located in the european peaks national park) are also definately worth visiting.

Asturias is a community with more than 10,000 squared kilometers in which you'll find national parks like the European Peaks, or natural parks like thos eof Somiedo or Redes, and a neverending variety of natural spaces declared just so by the UNESCO as part of the Biosphere Reserve. They are protected areas in which you can enjoy, but they are also areas that expect a certain respect as well as precaution. The National Park of the European Peaks is one of the only places you'll find the brown bear in the iberian penninsula.
