The gastronomy in Asturias is a mixture of cuisine from Galicia, as well as from normandy in france. The fabada (bean stew) asturiana is recognized interantionally as a delicacy. The fabada is an exquisite bean stew with special beans from Asturias accompanied by typical spanish coldcuts.
Asturianos do not just live off of Fabada, their world famous bean stew, they also have hundreds of delicious cheeses, a rice, milk and cinnamon dessert, and of course their delicous ciders to drink while eating all of these delicacies!
Above all the tourism in Asturias is not only rural, but coastal, and has therefore brought on all types of restaurants and international cuisines, for example, french, italian, and asian.
